Pha Poak Mountain

It takes less than 15 minutes to walk from the west side of the free bridge to Pha Poak Cave/Mountain, which has an admission fee of 10,000 kip, collected by some pretty random looking guys.

Another 15 minutes of properly climbing sketchy ladders and rocks with sharp edges takes you to the top with a spectacular view of surrounding mountains, streams, and rice paddies. Probably not the safest but worth the climb! Wear sensible shoes and watch your footing. The top is quite small so it's best not to have too many people around.
The way down took us 25 minutes, a big longer but not nearly as difficult as I imagined it would be. If you want to explore the "cave", it won't take more than 3 minutes as there isn't really much to see. You can keep on walking along the path to Lusi Cave, a proper cave.
